Get to know more about David below!

Q: How long have you worked at Hyosung?

A: I’ve been with Hyosung for 9 years and 3 months.

Q: Can you tell us a little more about your background and how you joined the company in 2012?

A: I previously worked within the ATM software industry for many years. I left my previous role for Hyosung when a position was opened in Dayton, OH and already knew some of the Hyosung employees from my prior roles.

Q: What was your first impression of Hyosung?

A: It was small when I joined the office in Dayton but I liked the hardware and the ambition to grow in the FI market.

Q: Are there any important skills or attributes that are important for someone that wants to pursue a career as a Project Manager? Is there anything about your job or your team that you think people outside would find surprising or different in the way you/it works?

A: The ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. Being able to recognize when you don’t know the answer to a problem and reach out for help.

Q: Can you tell us about your role and summarize your day-to-day responsibilities?

A: I help prepare software releases to be delivered such as new features, improvements, or demonstration of new technology.

Q: What inspires you every day?

A: Improving the quality of the software base.

Q: In 5 years what do you want to achieve or where do you see you yourself?

A: Some of my future goals for the next few years include improving software, reducing complexity in the configuration and/or installation. Also, working with new banks to drive a new engagement from design to production release.

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?

A: Read, watch sports.
