Q: How long have you worked at Hyosung? What was your start date?

A: I have been part of the Hyosung family for over 1 Year (1 year, 1 month) since 9/7/2021.

Q: Can you tell us a little more about your background and how you joined the company in 2021?

A: My journey in the ATM world began at Chase bank in 2007, where I managed ATM/Branch Cash forecasting, CIT Vendor Management, and later ATM Deployment Management. My responsibilities in this new role involved leading the project management team through recovery and replacement efforts from the impacts of Hurricane Sandy. I also spent months with OEM and CIT partners so I could learn and absorb all that I could about ATM manufacturing, operations, logistics, and the vastly growing improvements and innovations on the horizon in our industry. In September of 2021, I had the pleasure of joining the most respected and highly innovative ATM OEM:Hyosung!

Q: What was your first impression of Hyosung?

A: Hyosung is on the cutting-edge of technology and has the ability to deliver beyond what the ATM industry has ever known. I am happy to be on the Deployment team and I am excited about what the future holds for us in this industry, along with my growth opportunity at the company.

Q: Are there any important skills or attributes that are important for someone that wants to pursue a career as a Senior Project Manager? Is there anything about your job or your team that you think people outside would find surprising or different in the way you/it works?

A: I truly believe we achieve successful results when we focus on building relationships and establishing rapport, respect, and communication with our customers, internal partners, and teammates!

Q: Can you tell us about your role and summarize your day-to-day responsibilities?

A: My daily operational responsibilities are to deliver ATM Deployment projects, focusing on large initiatives, working with external partners and our outstanding field management and service team.

Q: What inspires you every day?

A: I am continuously motivated by strong leadership from my peers, management team, and the contributions and dedication from my own team. This group of people know the meaning of going the extra-mile and investing your heart into what you do!

Q: In 5 years what do you want to achieve or where do you see you yourself?

A: Professionally and personally, I want my efforts to make a difference! At Hyosung, this means improving our customers’ experiences and delivering daily. At Home, this means enjoying life, loving my family each day and making every moment meaningful!

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?

A: I find myself and reset best when riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle. It requires constant focus and can be exahusting, but for me there is nothing better than being outdoors and riding through the Hill Country of Central Texas.

Q: Do you have favorite memory or standout accomplishment during your time at Hyosung?

A: When I joined Hyosung, my goal was to reinforce our customer relationship by building and supporting the Chase Deployment team while excelling the Win10 initiative. Th Win10 initiative requires every ATM in our Chase fleet to undergo an upgrade and/or core replacement and conversion from Windows 7 to Windows 10. We have met every milestone and are at 96% completion, with only ATMs newly added to this project left to complete. It has been an amazing cross-department, collaborative effort to accomplish over 9000 projects… and counting!

Q: Do you have an interesting story you’d like to tell that wasn’t covered by any of the questions?

A: While at Chase, I managed some of Hyosung’s first “EBK” ATM installations. A brand new FSE was dispatched for the bring-live at my job-site in Mansfield, TX. He was all smiles and eager to help! We faced struggles, as this was a major branch renovation, but at the end of the day the job was a success and we delivered! Today, I report to that FSE who made his mark on the team and is now the Director of Deployment at Hyosung.
