The annual rankings take a global look at the leading hardware, software, and services providers in the financial industry. Vendors were ranked according to their performance in the 2020 calendar year.
The IDC FinTech Rankings, similar to the Fortune 500, categorizes and evaluates the top global financial technology providers based on their calendar year revenues from hardware, software and/or services provided to financial institutions. IDC Financial Insights forecasts global spending on financial sector IT to reach $590 billion by 2025, with companies like Hyosung being the primary driving force.
